Heart of a Dragon: Fire - Chapter seven
The dying dragon let out a sigh of relief as his Projection Spell on his broken horn had worked. He winced, still feeling the dull throbbing pain from where his right horn and ear used to be. Struggling against the invisible bonds that kept him firmly rooted to the ‘floor’, he looked around his prison. He was suspended in a dark shadowy mist, that seemed to make a solid floor, but he knew that if he were to touch the solid looking mass, it would give way beneath his paws. The darkness swirled around him in small ghostly biting wraiths, that slid across his scaly hide, sending shivers of fear through his body.
